A few years ago, Proquest made a sweeping change to their e-book platform that wiped out all of our local notes for limited use e-books. Acquisitions staff valiantly tried to manually clean up the Serials Solutions records but the information had been accumulating for years and it was extremely slow to restore it. Ranti Junus volunteered to take over the Serials Solutions loads and became aware of the burden this restoration was for others. She worked with the vendor to be able to add the information in batches and the task is nearly completed relieving others of this long-term project. In the same year, we are seeing the benefits of a collaboration between this person and MSU IT that has improved the turnaround speed for adding new databases to EZProxy. For this reason, we present this award to Ranti Junus.
