Accessing the wireless network in the library

The Main Library currently offers wireless network access to MSU students, staff, and faculty throughout the building. Limited guest access is also available to non-MSU affiliated users.

You can register your device to have full access to the campus wireless network. You only need to this once per device. Equipment left inactive for 90 days will be dropped from the network.

Will I be able to access the MSU Libraries’ online resources (e.g. the catalog, electronic journals, etc.) via the Wireless Network?

In order to access the library resources from the main library using your laptop with a wireless connection, you will need to set the proxy server settings (see Off-Campus Access for instructions).

For assistance in using the electronic resources, please see the staff at the Main Library Reference Desk in the main lobby.
