Autumn Faulkner
Outstanding Achievement

As chair of the Strategic Planning Steering Committee, Autumn Faulkner led with thoughtfulness, consideration, and respect.

Her task was enormous; she organized the entire project, from setting the meeting agendas to planning the unveiling celebration. In addition, she fully participated in each one of the sub-committees’ work, plus she was the liaison to Dean Salem and the outside consultants and had numerous meetings with them. As chair, she also did all the extra tasks that materialize in new situations such as this.

She did all of this with equanimity, kindness, and stamina – as well as her incredible attention to detail, without which we would have been lost. She knew when to push us forward but she always was cognizant when something wasn’t working and should be left behind. She was the exact right person for the job.  In short, she was outstanding.
