Affiliates at Hospitals

MSU affiliates at hospitals include current MSU medical students, clinical adjunct faculty, and MSU residents. You must have a current academic appointment and an active MSU NetID to utilize our resources.

Accessing the MSU Libraries Electronic Resources

To access the MSU Libraries' many electronic resources on this Health Sciences Digital Library site from off campus (including hospitals), you'll need a MSU NetID and password. If you never received or have forgotten your MSU NetID and password, contact the MSU Department or College that oversees your assignment. The MSU Libraries does not issue NetIDs and passwords.

If you have your MSU NetID and password and are having problems accessing electronic resources, contact Discovery Services at (517) 353-8700.

Requesting items from the MSU Libraries

You may request materials we own be mailed to you or interlibrary loan materials we do not have from other libraries through the MSU Libraries InterLibrary Services department.

If you are a Clinical Adjunct faculty member with the College of Human Medicine or the College of Osteopathic Medicine you must phone our InterLibrary Services Department at (517) 884-6398 to set up your ILL account before requesting any materials.

If your hospital has a library, check with a librarian about resources available to you. Many hospitals provide access to some resources not available through the MSU Libraries. Your local hospital librarian can also request material for you from MSU.
