Bring in a Class

The Digital Scholarship Lab offer teaching and high tech spaces that enable unique teaching and learning experiences. Because of the large volume of requests for the space, we ask that you schedule a class visit in advance, so that we offer the best experience for you and your class.

Tours

Many classes opt to tour the space to expose students to the unique technologies, spaces, and services available in the Digital Scholarship Lab. If you'd like to schedule a tour for your class, please email the DSL Desk.

Hosting a class

Talk to us about bringing your class to the Digital Scholarship Lab! A class visit makes sense if your class:

  • Is using the unique technologies available in the DSL, such as the:
    • 360 Room
    • VR Room
    • Anatomage table
  • Is doing a digital project
  • Is using digital scholarship software
  • Would benefit from talking with a digital scholarship expert

Classes may schedule one-time visits to use a specific technology. Classes may also host multiple sessions in the DSL, if the are interested in working closely with the DSL and will make heavy use of the hardware/software affordances of the DSL. Use of the space is guided by the Classroom / Workshop Space Use Policy.

If you’d like to bring your class to the lab, fill out a consultation request.
