​Join us in previewing two artists’ books from the MSU Libraries’ Special Collections: Ayotzinapa: desaparicion politica [Ayotzinapa: political disappearance] and 43=Cuarenta y tres [43=Forty three].

Also join us in welcoming members of a Mexican delegation bringing attention to the disappearance of the 43 student teachers from the Raúl Isidro Burgos Rural Teachers’ College of Ayotzinapa, Mexico.

Beal Garden Tours: Spring Ephemerals and their Stories 

Join assistant curator Peter Carrington for a tour of the earliest flowering plants of the spring. Most are beautiful, some are toxic, but they are all a welcome sight after the rigors of winter. This tour meets at the shed by the pond at the Beal Botanical Garden.
