Many of the records in this collection have a heavy build up of mold and mildew on the surface. Some experimentation was used to determine the most effective yet safe course of action to deal with them. They required some special handling and a more extensive cleaning procedure that will be demonstrated here. Many of these steps would not be used on the average record. |
