Theses and Dissertations Collection

Since it is the intention of the Turfgrass Information Center (TIC) to collect the turfgrass literature at an "exhaustive" level, we do wish to acquire copies of all theses and dissertations written in turf science, regardless of institutional affiliation.

We are hopeful that committees and advisors will encourage degree candidates to make available a copy directly to TIC, so that it may be promptly processed into TGIF, and thus be more rapidly "made known" to the research community.

If you have copies of your own or others' theses/disserations, please be sure to send one on to us, regardless of when the degree(s) were completed. Additionally, click here for more information on providing full-text access to your work.

How to search for Theses or Dissertations
To determine if we already own a thesis/dissertation, search it as below in "Power Search:"

A="authorsname" AND GMD=[either "Thesis" or "Dissertation"]
e.g. A=MILTNER AND GMD=DISSERTATION

When you display the record, it will say "Help us please - we need a copy of this item!" in the record if we need a copy.
