During Fall
and Spring semesters the Turfgrass Information Center will normally be
open the following hours:
Monday: 9am - 5pm
Tuesday: 9am - 5pm
Wednesday: 9am - 5pm
Thursday: 9am - 5pm
Friday: 9am - 5pm
Saturday: 10am - 2pm
Sunday: Closed
Please Note:
During Summer, breaks and holidays, other hours may apply and TIC will
normally be closed Saturdays. Also, TIC may be closed for brief unavoidable
periods of time during the posted "Open Hours". You may want
to call ahead to verify that the office is open, if you are planning a
visit.

Directions to the Michigan State University Main Library
From Ann Arbor
US-23 North to I-96 West to US-127/I-496 towards Lansing (Exit #106).
Exit onto Trowbridge Road. Turn left onto Harrison Road and see below.
From Chicago
I-94 East to I-69 North (shortly after Battle Creek on 94 East, sign
will read "To Lansing). I-69 runs into I-496 East. Exit onto Trowbridge
Road. Turn left onto Harrison Road and see below.
From Detroit
I-96 West to US-127/I-496 towards Lansing (Exit #106). Exit onto Trowbridge
Road. Turn left onto Harrison and see below.
From Flint
I-69 South to US-127 South. Exit onto Trowbridge Road. Turn left onto
Harrison and see below.
From Grand Rapids
I-96 East to I-496 towards Lansing. Exit onto Trowbridge Road. Turn
left onto Harrison Road and see below.
From Kalamazoo
I-94 East to I-69 North (shortly before Battle Creek on I-94 East, sign

From St. Johns
Take US-127 South. Exit onto Trowbridge Road. Turn left onto Harrison

To Reach the Main Library From Harrison Road:
From the intersection of Trowbridge and Harrison, drive north on Harrison
approximately 1/2 mile to the intersection of Harrison and Kalamazoo.
The Breslin Center will be on the right. Turn right on Kalamazoo and
follow the signs to Spartan Stadium. The visitor parking lot nearest
to the library is located on Red Cedar Road, just west of the stadium.
Walk across the street to the sidewalk on the north side of Red Cedar
Road. Follow this sidewalk east (to the right) about 500 feet to the
footbridge which crosses the Red Cedar River. The footbridge leads directly
to the south ("Red Cedar") entrance of the Main Library. The
Information Desk (an attendant can provide specific directions to the
Center) will be on the left after entering the building. The Turfgrass
Information Center (TIC) is located on the 3rd floor of the West wing,
in the Northwest corner of the floor.
