1. Follow this procedure if the record meets the 'OK to Catalog' criteria in your cataloging procedure. If there's something about the copy which bumps the book from your workflow, transfer the book to the RUSH shelf in Acq/CP.  Insert receiving ("MAGIC") streamer and PromptCat streamer (if the book is from a PromptCat truck).

2. Use EEMD in the OCLC 049 field.

3. Location code is BR.

4. Write the call number on the inside of the front cover and on the first flyleaf (top left-hand cover, on the side facing the following page) for hardcover books and on the verso of the title page for paperback books.  Do not write the call number in the book for PromptCat shelf-ready titles.

5. Do NOT use a location stamp.

6. If the book has a dust jacket, leave it on the book.

7. Insert an orange Browsing collection flag.

8. Place the cataloged book on the RUSH LABELING TRUCK in Acquisitions.
