Staff Recognition

I’d like to nominate Alex Hauser for a staff award this year.  In her time in the library, Alex Hauser has established herself as a trusted colleague and leader in our organization. She’s consistently shown leadership and commitment to moving our organization forward with the values of transparency and follow-through. She’s demonstrated a willingness to step in and move projects forward in various service commitments in the library, most notably Steering secretary, Ergonomic Committee chair and Employee Health and Wellness Group member – where she stepped in to lead when the chairs were unavailable. This is in addition to her primary role in the Business Library, where she has demonstrated a firm grasp of her subject matter and has done an excellent job serving the needs of students and faculty in that College. The fact that she’s accomplished all of this within only four years here at MSU Libraries is quite a feat and worthy of recognition.
