As always, Don Depoorter has been an impeccable supervisor during the work from home mandate. He supported all his staff during this difficult time with ease and sensitivity to our concerns.  He has given each one of us the flexibility we needed and is open to talking and juggling duties as new issues inevitably crop up. He listened to our requests to go back to work. When he got approval for us to return to work part-time, within reason, he allowed us to adjust our schedules until the hours met our needs and continues to allow for adjustments. He was vigilant about exploring ways to keep his staff employed and finding work for us to do at home. His openness to juggling our duties and schedules while keeping our concerns in mind helped keep us all on track. Don also never appeared to be rattled by the multiple projects that required immediate attention. His open-door approachability and caring attitude set the standard for a well-run unit where everyone is willing to jump in and help as needed.
