Staff Awards 2020

OER Program Launch
Special Projects

The OER Program for the special projects award. Many librarians and staff were involved in getting this program started this year, from Arlene Weismantel’s leadership to begin an OER program at MSU and the search committee for the OER and Student Success Librarian, to Regina Gong bringing her knowledge and experience and building the OER program here, to Publishing Services’ Julie Taylor, Joshua Newman, and student Sri Pallay working on editing and formatting textbooks in Pressbooks, to Heidi Schroeder’s accessibility team supporting OER, to the OER Advisory Committee, and to all library staff involved in making connections for collaboration with faculty. OER is a team project that aligns with the library’s strategic planning for diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility.
