Nora Madden
Staff Recognition

Nora Madden has been a reliable and cheerful member of the InterLibrary Services Borrowing team for the past several years. Clearing new patron accounts, answering ILL email, and shipping library material to off-campus patrons are among the many jobs she covers on a daily basis. After the library was closed to patron access, she saw her workload increase as she was tasked with providing material from the collection to all faculty/staff and students as items were requested. This required gathering a new address from each patron and coming to the library to process a great deal of material for UPS delivery, upwards of 50 books or media items a day. Nora handled this increase in work efficiently and helped to develop new workflows to deal with the volume of requests.
