Lisa navigated the implementation of the brand new MSU Travel System in Summer 2019 with great aplomb. She frequently communicated the many details of the policy changes to the Libraries staff, and regularly made herself available for the myriad of questions and concerns surrounding the new processes. In addition to learning the complexities of the new system, Lisa has consistently exhibited a deep knowledge of the travel policies and resources. She remained patient, understanding, and kind all while dealing with not only a new system, but changes to daily directives about who can travel where over the past few months. Her efficient work allowed reimbursements to come through quickly. Her efforts make it possible for Libraries’ staff to travel around the state, the nation, and the globe in order to present, share, collaborate, and learn. Lisa’s work ensures that library staff can pursue training and opportunities which help us grow professionally, and ultimately contribute to the organizational vitality of the MSU Libraries.
