Outstanding Achievement

In March, when Governor Whitmer ordered her stay-at-home order, the University deemed that Interlibrary Services’ distance delivery service was essential for faculty, staff, and students. ILS had to quickly modify their policy for distance services and open it up to meet the demands of all the MSU population and Aaron Tomak played a major role in making this happen.  His leadership, dedication to customer service, and attention to detail has made this transition possible. He played an integral part in gaining access to Hathi Trust digitized material to help our patrons along with other emergency resources.  Since the stay-at-home order, Aaron has been coming into the library every single day making sure our patrons are getting the service that they deserve.  For these and many other reasons, we would like to acknowledge Aaron Tomak with the outstanding achievement award.
