On the black ink on beige stock cover is a drawing of three "Bs" with key through them with the head of young girl in peeling of buckeye. The back shows a promo for Dr. Thomas' Eclectric Oil, claiming, "What it has done. What it will do." Followed by list of maladies and how long it will take for the oil will cure them. Inside front cover: listing of eclipses, seasons, chronological cycles, morning and evening stars, fixed and movable feasts for 1892. On the inside back cover is a table for foretelling the weather through the lunations of the moon, domestic postage and a caution against using blood bitters not under the Burdock Blood Bitters brand and asking for fraudulent copies to be brought to the attention of the company. Each section of the pamphlet describes an illness and how to cure it, along with testimonials and a calendar for the month. The sections include bad blood, skin diseases, dyspepsia, kidney complaint, biliusness and liver complaint, rheumatism, constipation, scrofula, headaches, general debility, nervous debility, malaria, cancer, and female complaints. The final pages are more general promos for Foster, Milburn & Co. products.
