The book is a green hard cover. The lettering on the front is in white. The back cover is plain green. Inside the front cover opposite the front end page there is written in pencil Mattie Robison Oct 7, 1914 compliments of A_G_Cole. Page 2 has a note that the Monarch range has been awarded the Gold Medal Portland 1905, Seattle 1909. In Portland it was at the Lewis & Clark Exposition. In Seattle it was at the Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition. Page 3 has a facsimile letter from the Jury on Stoves and Ranges, Lewis and Clark Centennial 1905. It is signed. The forward: The range problem - its importance and solution covers pages 5-33. With the exception of the black and white line drawing of the Model Kitchen Plan all drawings are in the forward. Page 139-140 are on cooking for the invalid. The price was $1.00. There is a newspaper clipping inside - a column called Squibs from the Farm Wife's Note Book. It is about various tips and tricks.
