The book is a green hard cover. The front cover has an outline of a man standing on the range door. The title is in white. The back cover is plain green. The title page is actually on page 33 after the forward: The range that saves. Page 32 has a black and white line drawing of a Lewis and Clark Centennial Diploma. The black and white line drawings with the exception of the one for the Model Kitchen Plan are all in the foreword. There are menus listed for color effects and diet balance. There are some for special occasions and a week for each season: spring, summer, winter, and fall.
