The front cover shows a woman holding a spoon and watching a steaming pot. The top reads, "Guaranteed by M.M. Fenner Co. under the Food and Drugs Act, June 30, 1906." The back cover reads, "No opium, morphine, or any habit forming drug or any kind used in compounding Dr. Fenner's medicines for use internally. Jan. 1, 1911. For sale by Haskins & Sanford, Hume, N.Y." Note: This is the same as item _mmfennerco1 except for name on back cover and the lack of the statement re. Food and Drugs Act (above) stamped on several pages in the other copy. The inside is a collection of household hints, recipes, medicinal/health suggestions and promotional text for Dr. Fenner's remedies. There are also testimonial letters from satisfied users of the remedies. Recipes include: Corn Soup, Delmonico Hashed Potatoes, Currant Pie, French Custard, and Gold Cake.
