- The front cover features a colorful illustration of a young woman in a white dress and pink sash, holding pink flowers. There is no lettering. In the bottom left corner is printed the number "81." The back cover features a colorful illustration of a woman seated outside, wearing white gloves, a billowy pink and white dress, and a large hat with pink flowers. She is holding roses. The inside is a child's coloring book with hidden figures in each illustration for the reader to locate. On the inside front cover it says, "The Foundation of a Child's Health - Mother's Milk. The Preserver of Health - Ghirardelli's Ground Chocolate. It is packed in Hermetically Sealed Cans. Always Fresh. Cannot Lose It's Strength." (sic) The inside back cover says "Ghirardelli's Ground Chocolate Strengthens the body. Quiets the nerves. Feeds the brain. More palatable and easier digested than any other cocoa preparation." At the bottom it says, "D. Ghirardelli Company, San Francisco, Originators of Ground Chocolate." There are no page numbers.
