1. What is the location code for periodicals? For Index Reference?
2. What happens to the microfiche record when we have holdings in both microfiche and paper and records for both formats?
3. What goes in the loan code of the item record for a bound periodical volume dated 1976? For one dated 1988?
4. What goes in the holdings statement for titles where we keep latest edition only?
5. If we haven't received a title in years, the record will go to the Inquiry Box after Record Review.
6. For periodical titles, an 866 field is created for the latest received.
7. For holdings which are on the shelflist but not found, who fills out the missing serial card?

Holdings Statements Holding statements and other 866 fields are the most detailed part of what students will be doing in serial records and the most important. Assume the the actual holdings match what the shelflist says and write the holdings statement(s) and/or any other 866 fields below each shelflist. Use the example below for how you should do this.
Record Review As supervisors, you will see records before they start the search process and after work has been completed, when records go to the record review box. Answer the questions below as if you were reviewing the records. 9. Where would the record for this title go next?
