Human Rights
Many people would be surprised by some of the atrocities
that take place around the world every day. Infringements include people
trafficking, substandard living conditions, murder, torture, racism, crimes
against religion, and many others. The UN adopted the
Universal Declaration of Human Rights "to
cause it to be disseminated, displayed, read, and expounded principally in
schools and other educational institutions, without distinction based on
the political status of countries or territories."
