Campus Sustainability Day Exhibit

Now in its third year, Campus Sustainability Day (Oct. 26, 2005) brings people together on campuses throughout the country from across disciplines and departments . students, staff, and faculty . to celebrate and share each campus' sustainability achievements and plans.

The Birth of the Atomic Age and the Beginning of the Cold War

The Birth of the Atomic Age and the Beginning of the Cold War: an exhibit commemorating the 60th anniversary of the development of the atomic bomb and the explosions at Hiroshima and Nagasaki, featuring MSU Library resources and Museum artifacts.

Katrina: Confronting Catastrophe

This exhibit explores the science and impacts of hurricanes; hurricane prediction; disaster preparedness, response, and relief; and post-disaster reconstruction, through a selection of materials from the MSU Libraries. collections.

The Verdehr Trio - 150 and Counting

The Verdehr Trio, with MSU faculty clarinetist Elsa Ludewig-Verdehr and violinist Walter Verdehr, was formed in 1972. With little music available for clarinet, violin and piano, the Verdehrs set a goal to commission 150 compositions in time for MSU's Sesquicentennial, working with composers around the world and with financial support from MSU.
