Area Studies and the MSU Libraries

1st Floor, West Wing

MSU Librarians collect materials from countries all over the world, in both English and a wide-range of foreign languages, based on the needs of MSU faculty and students. This exhibit highlights these collections in four key areas: Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean, and Russia and Eastern Europe. See the international dimensions of the Libraries' collections, from Creole language textbooks and Swahili idioms, to rare works of Russian literature and Chinese political cartoons.
