An exhibit celebrating animals as athletes through a selection of books, photographs, equipment, and event programs and awards
Equine and canine animals compete in a variety of athletic events such as thoroughbred racing, steeplechase, show jumping, polo, and rodeo for horses and sled racing and agility competitions for dogs. Just as training, rest, and nutrition are important to the human athlete, they are equally, if not more, important for the animal athlete. This exhibit celebrates animals as athletes through a selection of books, photographs, equipment, event programs, and awards.
Exhibit produced by Sheila Bryant,
with special graphics assistance from Theresa Moore and Sara Cook.
