The Charles W. Barr Planning & Design Library maintains a collection of planning reports from Michigan cities, townships and counties along with reports from the U.S. and international regions. Student projects and practicums, videos/DVDs, a vertical file and a Reserve Reading Desk round out the collection.

Some of the subjects available at the PLA Library include: City Planning, Economic Development, Land Use, Landscape Design, Parks & Recreation, Urban Growth & Sprawl, Wetlands and Zoning.

Please be sure to check hours of operation or call ahead, especially during Winter & Spring breaks, holidays and the summer.

If using our one public copier, please bring coins or single dollar bills. We do not provide change.
