Printing PowerPoint slides from Angel.

This can be done two ways. You can open the file in Angel (opens in the Angel window most of the time) or you can save the file to your desktop or to your P drive.

If you open the file in Angel, right click on the slide that is showing. Then select print. The print window for PowerPoint will open. If you do not change any settings, the slides will print one to a page. To print more than one slide to a page, in the drop down menu towards the bottom left, change slides to handouts. To the right of that, you can select the number of slides per page which can be from 1 to 9 slides per page. Be sure to leave the color set at grey scale. These will save on toner and make the slides print faster. If you want to print them in color on the color printer, then select color from the drop down box.

The option of note pages prints one slide to a page and any notes that were written about it. The outline option will print the information on the slides in an outline format - there will be no graphics with this option, just the text.

If you saved the file to your P drive or the desktop (remember anything saved to the desktop vanishes from a microlab computer when you sign out), then open the file and from the file command on the toolbar, select print. From there you get the same print box as is described above. Follow the directions above for the different printing options.
