Description of Research Data Support Services

Research Data Planning & Design

  • Advise researchers on the development of their data management plans, to ensure that they include the elements of importance to funders—such as descriptions of the types of data, metadata standards, plans for short-term storage and long-term archiving, plans for re-use, and access and sharing policies.
  • Advise researchers on where they can find support in the other service areas.
