EarthTrends is an online database, maintained by the World Resources Institute, that focuses on the environmental, social, and economic trends that shape our world.

Energy Information Administration (EIA)
The Energy Information Administration (EIA) is a statistical agency of the U.S. Department of Energy. They have data like amount and prices on the various types of energy sources and also data on topics like the environment, households, buildings, industry, and geographic data.

National Climatic Data Center
Part of NESDIS provides information on climate in the following areas: land based, upper air, marine, satellite, paleoclimatology, and weather/climate, events, information, and assessments.

National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Services (NESDIS)
NESDIS operates NOAA's National Data Centers for Climate, Geophysics, Oceans, and Coasts. Through these Data Centers and other centers of data, NESDIS provides and ensures timely access to global environmental data from satellites and other sources.

National Fire Protection Association
This web site provides fire information on causes of fire, the U.S. Fire Service, and more.

National Hazard Statistics
The U.S. Natural Hazard Statistics provide statistical information on fatalities, injuries and damages caused by weather related hazards.

U.S. Fire Administration
This page contains statistics on fires that occur in the United States and analytical and topical reports that describe the national fire problem. Also included are statistics related to firefighters and fire departments.
