Configuring Internet Explorer 6 on Windows

1.From the menu bar select Tools, then go to Internet Options





2.Select the "Connections" tab and click on the LAN settings button.




3. Select the checkbox to use a proxy server, then enter the

Select "Bypass proxy server for local addresses". You do not have to
use the Advanced tab unless you are directed to make specific
exclusions to the proxy server settings. Click OK to close the LAN settings
window, and click OK again to close the Internet Options.




4. At your browser window, click the refresh button to reload the window and activate the proxy settings.
