Facilities and Supplies
The Main Library keeps a supply of emergency materials and equipment sufficient to deal with small or moderate disasters. However, for a larger disaster, additional equipment and supplies may be needed.
For all emergency supplies and services, on campus or off, make initial contact by calling Physical Plant at 517.353.1760. After hours or on a weekend contact the University Operator who will direct the call. The Physical Plant can supply from its own inventory such items as

- Water hoses
- Water bank trailers
- Plastic garbage bins
- Portable tables
- Forklifts
- Pallets
- Liquid vacuums
- Dehumidifiers
- Extension cords
- Freezer and saran wrap
- Pedestal fans

16.6 cu. ft. upright freezer. Holds 50-100 books
Food Stores (Service Road)
270,000 cu. ft. at -10 degrees F with moisture evacuation systems. Freezer space and plastic crates are dependent upon availability.
