Typewriter Maintenance

All typewriters in
the Library system are under a maintenance contract with vendors that are
selected each year by the University. The contract includes service calls and
inspections that take place at the time of a service call. Units are notified
each year by the Main Office of the vendor selected.
Service calls to the
vendor(s) should be made by the individual typist indicating which machine is
to be serviced, its serial number, location, and problem. Should anyone be
unable to attain service, they should contact the Library Main Office.
