Parking - Guest Permits
January 1996
Visitor permits can
only be provided at no charge to University visitors. University policy
prohibits the free distribution of visitor permits to employees. Students are
not authorized to use permit passes in any manner, nor may they purchase them.
The main office has
four-hour and all-day permits available for official guests. Request visitor
passes in the main office for the period of time required and complete the
necessary information on the permit. A valid visitor permit is one in which: 1)
the day and date are written out; 2) the time the permit is to begin is entered
and either A.M. or P.M. is circled; 3) your department's name is legibly printed.
Any crossouts on the permit VOID THAT PERMIT and the
customer will receive a ticket for an altered permit. It is the staff member's
responsibility to make sure the permit is completed. Any violations issued due
to improper use of a permit is the responsibility of the visitor.
