In accordance with the land grant mission of the University, the Michigan State University Libraries allow any individual free walk-in access to facilities, stack collections, space and resources, except for late night access between 1 AM and 6 AM, when identification must be presented for security purposes.  Use of some special collections (including remote access to electronic items) and access to some services (such as material inter-library loan) may be governed by more restrictive policies.  Please consult with staff in relevant areas.
