Study of International Development collects extensively in this
multidisciplinary field. See also area studies, agricultural economics, etc. The

- Virtual library at the
Universite Libre de Bruxelles offers a comprehensive list of internet
sites dealing with sustainable development, including organizations,
projects and activities, electronic journals, libraries, references and
documents, databases, directories, and metadatabases.
- JOLIS (Joint
Libraries Information System), the network Web catalog of the libraries of
the World Bank (IBRD) and International Monetary Fund. Includes
references to books, journal titles, journal articles, working papers,
conference proceedings, technical reports, videos, software, electronic
resources, etc.
- Global Development Gateway
World Bank site giving information on development projects, best
practices, research findings, case studies, procurement services,
commercial opportunities, news, and directories.
- International Institute for Sustainable
Development. Includes access to journal LINKAGES.
Virtual Library
on International Development. Canadian International Development Agency
