(1) Susan Krueger Wins Special Election
I'm happy to announce that Susan Kruger, of the Detroit Public Library, is our new Program Chair, effective today. Twenty-four votes were cast for her, with no write-in votes or abstentions. [Election results were tallied by Sally Lawler, Godort of Michigan Past-President and Cass Hartnett, Current President.]

Some of you may have met Sue just this past year. After nine years of working in various librarian positions in the DPL system, primarily in neighborhood branches, Sue became Documents Assistant in Sociology & Economics. Under the supervision and guidance of Paula Kaczmarek, Sue is learning all about documents reference at a regional depository, and she's doing a great job.

Welcome aboard, Sue!
