(3) Liaison Needed
Godort of Michigan is looking for a replacement for Sharon Bradley to serve as our liaison to the Michigan Council of Depository Libraries for a term beginning January 1, 2002 and ending December 30, 2005. There are typically four working meetings per year (all-day, at the Library of Michigan) plus either the biennial general meeting of depositories (held in odd-numbered years) and geographic area meetings of depositories held in three or four locations in the state (in even numbered years). The Council oversees the state plan and its responsibilities are set out in detail within the plan. The Council also acts as an advisory body to the State Librarian and through her or him to the Library of Michigan Board of Trustees. The Godort of Michigan Liaison serves as a non-voting member. If you are interested, contact:
Deborah Jakubiec, Reference/Government Documents Librarian, Livonia Civic Center Library, 32777 Five Mile Rd,
