"Membership support is vital to fulfilling the objectives of Godort of Michigan. Each member can make a contribution in his or her own area of expertise -- whether it be suggesting a program, speaking at a program, contacting speakers, or handling local arrangements. Hesistance to volunteer is understandable. Any first effort is difficult. However, conference sponsorship provides an opportunity for professional growth. It makes an outstanding addition to one's resume. Godort of Michigan will assist its members in planning and conducting any workshop. Most important, these activities are an important step toward bring documents to the people."
