  • A searchable a version of the Senate's Annotated Constitution. It has annotations and cites to cases decided by the Supreme Court of the United States through June 29, 1992. The 1000 page+ document was prepared by the Congressional Research Service Library of Congress for the United States Senate (Johnny H. Killian and George A. Costello are Co-Editors) . We broke it up into web size pieces (that is < 80k) and added internal links as well as links to the US Supreme Court cases that are cited by the annotations. Also available at the GAO Web site (in larger text portions and as pdf files).
  • The Supreme Court case database (1906-/ v.200-) enables users to obtain a list of cases that cite a particular case (kind of like Shepards(tm) or Auto-Cite(tm), but without the value added relationship codes between the cases). This cite search link is included on the top of each case.

    JURIST: the Law Professors Network

    JURIST collects law professors' Web-based home pages, course pages, resource pages and online articles (both "pre-prints" and "post-prints") and - for the first time - makes them conveniently accessible to other law professors, lawyers, and law students, as well as to the public at large. JURIST also offers listings for the Web sites of major professional and legal associations, directories of law review and law school home pages, pointers to law listservs, access to a law-dedicated search engine, and last (and, perhaps until this part is absolutely finished, least!) direct e-mail connections to other legal academics in the US and abroad. Jurist also provides mini-portals to peer-reviewed online legal resources across a curriculum of 26 subjects. JURIST's Law Guides are edited by law professors who in addition to being experts in their own fields are also pioneers in using the Internet for legal education.

The Resource section of this page includes the following categories: law schools, law reviews, law students, law enforcement, international, bookshelf, new technology, publishers and services.     Lexis now offers a Web site with state and Federal cases since 1996, and complete Supreme Court case law, as well as a repository of online legal forms, for free.
