The Southern Poverty Law Center's quarterly Intelligence Report offers in-depth analysis of political extremism and bias crimes in the United States. The Intelligence Report profiles Far Right leaders, monitors domestic terrorism and reports on the activities of extremist groups. Its annual listing of hate groups and Patriot groups is the most comprehensive in the United States. Each issue contains summaries of bias incidents from throughout the country. The web page provides access to archival issues from 1998 to date.

Since September 1985, the International Enforcement Law Reporter (IELR) has reported and analyzed the premier developments and issues in both the substantive and procedural aspects of international enforcement law as well as identified and predicted trends in legislative, administrative, and case law developments. The discussions are annotated and enable practitioners, policy makers, and academicians to use the IELR as a reference tool and guide to the practice of international enforcement law. Founded in 1977, the International Journal of Comparative and Applied Criminal Justice (IJCACJ) has provided a forum for scholars, academics and practitioners who are interested in comparative theory and empirical research in the area of criminal justice. The purpose of this journal is to encourage exchange of theoretical views and scientific findings to develop, promote and advance key research areas in criminal justice for use in classroom and in practice. The IJCACJ focuses on two distinct but related concepts. First, papers should be international and comparative analysis of cross-cultural theories of crime, legal systems, policing, courts, juvenile justice, women offenders and minority offenders. Education, training, and planning also will be included. Second, papers should include policy recommendations for applying research findings to the operations of criminal justice in a given country or region.

Utica (NY) College's Economic Crime Investigation Institute (ECII) and Computer Forensics Research and Development Center (CFRDC) have teamed up to launch the International Journal of Digital Evidence (IJDE). Articles are peer reviewed by the publication's Editorial Board and/or by invited peer reviewers prior to publications.
"The [publication's] focus will be on research findings; advancement of new theories; discussions of evolving standards, validation methods, and certification processes based on scientific methods; presentations of key legal and legislative issues; reports on significant advances in technology; and analyses of innovative policies and practices in the digital evidence field," said Gary R. Gordon (editor) & John Leeson (associate editor) in their editor's message in the inaugural issue. Gordon is Executive Director of the ECII and Professor of Economic Crime Management at Utica College. Leeson is Associate Professor of Computer Science at the University of Central Florida and Assistant Director of the National Center for Forensic Science.

A prisoner written, academically-oriented journal based on the tradition of the Penal Press. The purpose of this journal is "to bring the knowledge and experience of the incarcerated to bear upon more academic arguments and concerns and to inform public discourse about the current state of our carceral institutions." (Gaucher, R., Summer 1988, p. 54) This endeavour is particularly important because with few exceptions, articles on crime and punishment are written by criminologists, sociologists, journalists, and workers in the criminal justice system who often present incomplete views of the reality of imprisonment which, in turn, justify increasingly repressive and reactionary penal policies and practices. Contemporary research is helping us to understand the function of prisons in modern society; however, this research requires the insight and analysis of people for whom imprisonment is or has been the reality of their daily existence. At present the full text of the first two volumes are available as well as table of contents from subsequent issues. The webmasters are working on adding the full text of later volumes as well. The web site also provides links to prison writing, arts, and culture sites.
