Gift of Russel B. Nye

Russel B. Nye taught at MSU for over four decades. As a scholar and founder of the study of popular culture, he encouraged the MSU Libraries to build a special collection in this field. In 1978, this collection was named the Russel B. Nye Popular Culture Collection in recognition of his work and gifts to the collection.
