Margaret R. Squires Endowment for Professional Opportunities for the MSU Libraries
Established by Gary A. Rooney, the endowment funds shall be utilized for costs associated with the following types of activities: 1) tuition for credit and non-credit classes, 2) attendance at training workshops, seminars, conferences, and meetings, 3) release time (costs associated with replacing an employee during an extended absence for training), 4) group training sessions, and 5) other similar activities. For all approved activities, costs of all associated expenses, such as travel, lodging, per diem, etc. can be covered.
