Gilbert, W.S., 1890

W.S. Gilbert, of Gilbert & Sullivan fame, also wrote hundreds of comic poems for the popular magazine Fun. They were collected for his eager fans in The Bab Ballads and Songs of a Savoyard along with Gilbert's own whimsical illustrations.
