One Book, One Community

The annual One Book, One Community program, cosponsored by Michigan State University and the City of East Lansing, encourages everyone to read the same book and discuss it together in a variety of settings.

The Yellow Birds, the critically-acclaimed debut novel by Iraq War veteran Kevin Powers, is the 2013 selection. A copy of the book is on reserved reading in the MSU Main Library, where members of the MSU community can check it out for a 3 day period.
