Healing Herbs: A History of Plants in Medicine

This exhibit explores medical botany and the history of plants in medicine, from remedies of the ancient peoples to those being used in the modern pharmaceuticals of today. This exhibit defines what medical botany is and the different ways that plants can be used in the practice of medicine. Highlights include locally available plants with medicinal qualities, as well as research being done on the campus of MSU.
