The premier resource for searching the world's scholarly and professional biomedical and health sciences literature (including human nutrition). Medline uses a controlled vocabulary (e.g. coronary disease NOT heart disease), so it's wise to check the online Thesaurus to determine the correct terminology before you do your search.
The world's leading agricultural research database, covering agriculture in the very broadest sense and including food science and human nutrition. British spellings and terminology are used (e.g. flavour, fibre, sulphate, maize vs. corn, food supplements vs. dietary supplements, etc.).

Health & Wellness Resource Center
Provides access to an integrated collection of general interest and fitness magazines, medical and professional periodicals, reference books and pamphlets, including ADA Journal, JAMA, Food Chemical News, Topics in Clinical Nutrition, Prevention, and Vegetarian Journal. Many of the articles are available full-text.
Health Reference Center Academic
Provides access to the full text of nursing and allied health journals, plus a wide variety of personal health information sources: journals, newsletters, pamphlets, reference books and more.
Contains over 2,000 periodicals (nearly 1,000 of them in ASCII full-text or full-image formats) in a wide range of subject areas. Sources range from general interest magazines and newspapers to trade publications and scholarly journals.
Indexes popular periodicals published in the U.S. and Canada (e.g. Time, Newsweek, U.S.A. Today, Prevention, Discover, Men's Health, Ms., Glamour, etc.). Some full-text links to articles.
