Cackle Real Egg Noodles

no preview available

The leaflet is printed with brown ink on Kraft paper. On the cover two thin lines with little squares at the corners frame the text. At the top is written, "Father thinks Mother Makes Them," followed by, "Receipts for Cooking Cackle Real Egg Noodles." The letters in the word cackle are formed to suggest the shape of an egg. The company name and address appear at the bottom of the cover. The back is a continuation of recipes from the inside of the leaflet, including escalloped oysters with noodles, escalloped chicken with noodles, bake noodles, noodles with ham or bacon and noodle salad. The inside left side of the leaflet lists four facts about real egg noodles, such as they are delicious, natural, economical and coming into favor at various establishments. The bottom section of this page has directions for cooking the noodles. The right hand side lists five recipes: cream salmon noodles, creamed cheese noodles, creamed chipped beef with noodles, fried noodles, noodles and tomatoes.
