Dortrechtsche Waterpoort in 1594 [Bendorp's Royal Dutsch Cocoa]
The top of the card is dominated by the color illustration of a building, with two figures talking in the front. The bottom of the card shows a woman carrying water in a large bucket on her right hip. A band separates the two pictures with "Bendorp's Royal Dutch Cocoa" written in brown over a pink pebble texture. The first letter of each word is decorated elaborately. The title of the card is found across the bottom. On the back of the card a finger points to, "No. 16. This is one of a set of 24 different cards." This is followed by the company name in red and then a promo, including a recipe for Amsterdam pudding in brown ink, followed by importer information again in red. The card concludes with, "Try this Cocoa for cooking in place of cake chocolate."
