The front and back panels of the three-fold, eight-panel leaflet feature a wraparound color drawing by Nelier of white asparagus spears on a purple plate, plus asparagus and other ingredients in a salad bowl along with a bottle of salad oil further back. Title text on the front panel reads Tasty Dishes Easily Made With Asparagus. The back panel is absent text except for the name of the illustrator, Nelier. Two inside panels feature a decorative frame around a red rectangular box, inside which are black and white drawings of three containers of California Asparagus. Text accompanying the drawings reads Packed In 3 Sizes Of Cans - Tips In Small Square And Round Cans. Long Spears In Tall Square Cans. Beneath this material is additional text reading California Canned Asparagus The World's Most Popular Salad And Vegetable Delicacy. The other four inside panels each feature three recipes.
